UGC NET July 2018 Answer Key

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has scheduled the National Eligibility Test (NET) on 08 July 2018 (Sunday). The board conducts the exam on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC). Candidates with a post-graduate degree can take the test for the post of Assistant Professor and the award of Junior Research Fellowship. Here are the details on UGC NET 2018 result, scorecard, merit list and more.

UGC NET Result 2018 –

The result of UGC NET 2018 could be expected in the month of September as the answer keys will be released in the fourth week of August. The board will upload the result on NET’s official website (https://cbsenet.nic.in/). Candidates can check their result with the help of their log-in Id and password generated at the time of registration. Please note that no candidate will be intimated individually about the result.

UGC NET Result Date –

As per the official notification released for UGC NET 2018, the board has not announced the exact date of result declaration. The official notification states that the result will be made available on the official website as and when it will be declared. Those who qualify for the JRF can pursue their research or work as an Assistant Professor while those who qualify for the post of Assistant Professor can apply for the vacant posts in both government and private institutions.

Steps to Check UGC NET Result 2018 –

As stated above, the result will be uploaded on the official website

  • Go to the official website; https://cbsenet.nic.in/.
  • Click on the link for UGC NET 2018 July session result.
  • You will be redirected to candidate’s login page.
  • Enter the log-in details and click on ‘Submit’ button.
  • Your result will appear on the screen.
  • Download and take a print out.

The result will display your marks in both the papers and Pass/Fail status.

UGC NET Answer Key 2018

The scanned images of candidates’ response sheets and answer keys will be uploaded on the official website in the fourth week of August 2018. Candidates are provided with the option to challenge the captured responses/answer key on payment of ₹ 1000/- per question. The fee will be refunded if the challenge is accepted. Final answer key will be released after considering the challenges. The result will be declared on the basis of final answer key.

Unreserved (General) 40%
SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Transgenders 35%

UGC NET Merit List 2018

Separate category-wise and subject-wise merit list will be released when the final result will be declared. Top 6% of the candidates who have appeared for both the papers will be declared qualified. CBSE will not issue mark sheet to qualified or non-qualified candidates.
